Our Founder

​Nonlinear Insights is founded by Prof. Asish K Bhattacharyya, who held leadership positions in industry for twenty years before joining academia in 1993. He retired as Director from the Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad (IMTG) in March 2020. He has taught at the best business schools in India: IIM Calcutta, SPJIMR Mumbai and IICA Manesar. He also served the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) as the Technical Director.

Prof. Bhattacharyya is known for his contribution in the areas of accounting (including management accounting) and corporate governance.

Prof. Bhattacharyya obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Allahabad. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Fellow of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA,U.K.).

Prof. Bhattacharyya is a regular columnist of Business Standard for last twelve years. He has authored seven books on financial accounting, management accounting and corporate governance.
